4.0 out of 5 stars Very Useful, July 25, 2006
By LDG in Montgomery (Montgomery, AL United States) - See all my reviews
I think the cookbook-type approach used here is very useful in daily practice when combined with more traditional texts. I recommend buying this text and reading through (at least parts) of it to get the idea. It is somewhat analogous to Ackerman's approach to inflammatory disorders.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a textbook, May 29, 2008
By Sveinung Sørbye (Tromso, Norway) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is not a textbook in cytology. This is something else. A pattern recognition approach is a smart way to find the diagnosis. The book can serve as a partial substitute for experience, but you need some basic skills in cytology to use it.
