However, some selections deal with times, places, or people that won't be familiar to the target audience. The volume sports a punchy contemporary design that utilizes black-and-white photography, clip art, and a plethora of fonts and type sizes. While the author sometimes puts being class clown above schoolwork and getting good grades, the book is overall a helpful look into the life of a budding performer. Children will love it because of the wealth of material within it.
