About the Author
Karla Carta was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She is a graduate of The University of Central Florida from the college of Communicative Disorders. She has been a teacher of children with special needs since 1988. "Fairy Jane" is Karla's first children's book. She has written poetry since she was a teenager, and has aspired to write children's books for many years. As she took on this venture, it seemed most natural to combine her love of children and poetry. She lives with her husband and four children. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sweet tale of friendship..., January 30, 2006
This review is from: Fairy Jane (Paperback)
My daughter, who is 4 years old, loves this book! This is a story about the friendship between a little girl and a fairy. The story itself is sweet and the way the book is written with rhymes makes it fun to follow. This is definitely a favorite bedtime book in our house!
