Product Description

While on vacation in Turkey, two friends unwittingly become entangled in a web of international terrorism. One, a forensic behavioral analyst for the CIA, is forced to cross a dangerous line from tourist to intelligence operative as she decides to work with an undercover Kurdish military team led by a Turkish spy. The mission takes the special operations team into southeastern Turkey's beautiful, rugged and vast Sat-Cilo mountains, where they enter a foreign world of intrigue and a surprising and exotic land of romance.

5.0 out of 5 stars No matter where you go destiny follows you, March 10, 2007
By Robert Martin (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Reeder invites you into her tale with a relaxing peaceful approach - a fun excursion to Turkey between two adoring friends. Dining on wonderful food, beautiful hotels, and deep dives into complicated Turkey, you soon learn that the complications are more than they appear. Reeder takes a twist and before you know it you are in special ops training preparing for a life or death mission that leads you over the Sat-Cilo Mountains and straight into the heart of a tangled love affair. Reeder leaves you just as you are invited, relaxed and rejuvenated......only wanting more and more.

A must read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic Adventure At It's Best, June 24, 2007
By Syke27 (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews

Ms. Reader's "Complicated Favors" is able to do what I think few books or even films can - which is pull together romance, adventure and fact seemlessly leaving it's audience bewildered, mesmerized and wiser. I loved this book. I'll be looking for her next offering very soon!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read! , January 19, 2007
This book was referred to me by a friend and not knowing much of anything about Turkey and their social strife, this book gave me insight into an unknown culture. I very much enjoy historical novels - that is books that tell a fictional story within a real world context and this book definitely delivered. I learned quite a bit about the Turkish culture and people. It was an easy book to read because I kept just wanting to turn the page to see what was going to happen next. The ending leads me to believe that there will be a sequel - and I look forward to it!
