5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the novice, December 22, 2006

A few sections in this book really stand out. "Natural Explanations" with it's explanation on infrasound made it very simple to understand. The camera section went into the right amount of detail about cameras, and I found the part about digital cameras and CCD filled-in pixels helpful. The part about carbon monoxide is something I have been meaning to research on my own for quite a while, and, after having read this book, I now know all I need to about it.
The EVP section was excellent.! Everything the beginner needs to know and then some!

2.0 out of 5 stars A book for the connoisseur - - - - - -, May 24, 2006
A book for the connoisseur - of dreadfulness.

If the reader is a neophyte of the paranormal and has never read a book of this type, it may be enjoyable. However, if an aficionado, they may experience a feeling of "deja vu" as they begin to read. To a large extent, the content of this book appears to be a hastily assembled compilation of other's works, stories and documents.

3.0 out of 5 stars Author comment, May 25, 2006
By Joe Teeples (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Make no mistake, this book is designed for people who are new to the field of ghost hunting. AGHOST is the largest, most technically advanced ghost hunting organization in the Northwest and assisted in the development of this book that includes information on how to form a ghost hunting club, how to do investigations, what forms to use and a listing of haunted locations, with addresses, in the Pacific Northwest. Much of this information is not available in a single source document and the title (Ghostology 101) identifies this book as a book for beginners.
