For more than 40 years Rev. Dorris has studied the many world religions. In the past 10 years he has been writing the thoughts inspired by what he has learned. This book is a selection from those writings. It contains ancient teachings put into new words applicable to our day and time. Many people have encouraged him to share his writings with the general public. It is our hope that these writings will stimulate interest in discussions and dialogue. Rev. Dorris believes that there is only one God worshiped in many different ways throughout the world. As is evident in his writings, he believes that there is an underlying harmony in all the religious teachings. They contain ancient truths that can be used by all people, regardless of their former religious background. Emphasis is placed on the two great commandments: to love God and to love your fellow man.
