About the Author
Susan Wingate has written two novels. Her first, Of the Law, a story of a lawman in turmoil in search of a sexual killer; and her second novel, Kiss of the Doe, a tale of a woman looking for family in a town where nobody wants her. One of her short stories entitled, The Saber, was just recently selected for inclusion in FirstWriter.magazine. Another short story entitled, Breaking, was recently short-listed for SlingInk's 2006 Winter Shorts Competition and will be included in their anthology called "Footprints". Susan has also compiled a collection of short stories, essays, and poems entitled, Ravings of a Mad Gentlewoman which now available. Currently, Susan Wingate teaches writing classes at Skagit College in Friday Harbor and offers workshops at writing conferences around the US.
