About the Author

Steve Farrar is the founder and chairman of Men's Leadership Ministries. A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, with a Master's degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, he also has an earned a doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary. Steve authored the best-selling book, Point Man: How a Man Can Lead His Family and has since written fifteen other books. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, for Promise Keepers and at many other events nationwide. Steve and his wife, Mary, have three grown children and currently reside in suburban Dallas, Texas.

As a Senior Pastor, I have always found him to be thoroughly biblical. As a Pastor I have benefited from his many contemporary illustrations. This book, the first in a series looks at the life of Joseph. The overarching theme is God is sovereign...and He knows where we are no matter how difficult the journey. I have everything Steve has ever written....when I see a new title by him, I pull it off the shelf and head to the register...no questions asked! I will say that up to this point... "Tempered Steel" is my all time favorite book of his...and in my opinion the best book I have ever read for understanding the valley's that we all must pass through! This new book, God built has been so refreshing....so grab one and put it in your cart...you will be glad you did! I have come to appreciate Steve Farrar's many books over the years. As a Senior Pastor, I have always found him to be thoroughly biblical. As a Pastor I have benefited from his many contemporary illustrations. This book, the first in a series looks at the life of Joseph. The overarching theme is God is sovereign...and He knows where we are no matter how difficult the journey.

I have everything Steve has ever written....when I see a new title by him, I pull it off the shelf and head to the register...no questions asked! I will say that up to this point... "Tempered Steel" is my all time favorite book of his...and in my opinion the best book I have ever read for understanding the valley's that we all must pass through!
This new book, God built has been so refreshing....so grab one and put it in your cart...you will be glad you did!
