Product Description

Feelings Of Love And Loss is a book of love poetry written to touch the hearts of the readers. It contains poems from general love, new love, undying love, the pain of love, to lost love.

About the Author

I grew up with the ocean breeze in a small town on the East coast. I am the daughter of a musician and I used to sing with my father, which gave me a love for music and the words. Poetry has always been a passion of mine but I never applied myself to writing until I returned to college. I started putting my feelings down and sharing with my friends and family. Soon the words started flowing. After much encouragement, I decided to write this book putting my early poetry in print. Many of my poems in this book have been reviewed and highly rated by other authors and editors at numerous writing sites online. My poem “Forever and Always” was published on a Christian website at their request. I have since written numerous poems and my style has improved over time. I have written a poem for a children’s organization at their request for their website and my poetry has won poetry challenges, poetry contests, and editor’s choice awards. My style of writing is considered a form of lyrical poetry that crosses between polyrhythmic poetry and free verse, a form of cadenced prose. I enjoy free verse, open form, prose and nontraditional rhyming poetry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Early works of poetry by Bella Russell, July 6, 2008
This book was written to share early works of poetry. Accolades are included inside the book by other writers. Many of the poems in this book have been reviewed and highly rated by other authors and editors at numerous writing sites online. The poem "Forever and Always" was published on a Christian website at their request. Numerous poems have been written since the publication of this book showing an improvement in style. A poem was written for a children's organization at their request for their website. Many newer poems that have been written have won poetry challenges, poetry contests, and editor's choice awards. This style of writing is considered a form of lyrical poetry that crosses between polyrhythmic poetry and free verse, a form of cadenced prose. Over 50 autographed books have been sold and this book is available online as well as in several bookstores. New poems have been requested for publication. Some of the poems to be published include "Web Of Lies" which will be published in "Immortal Verses" and won the Editor's Choice Award, displaying an original perspective and unique creativity - judged to be the qualities found most in exceptional poetry. "Where Is The Love" and "Gentle Breeze" will be published in another book of collections of winning poems due out in print in February 2009.
