5.0 out of 5 stars Great fried rice, February 4, 2009

This is more than a cookbook. Yes there are recipes, but they are more like templates - letting your imagination soar. There are so many combinations and possible combinations introduced (as well as putting butter and sugar on rice - way too addicting!) Before this book, I never considered using hot dogs in fried rice but it is a wonderful addition. Considering how economical rice is, this is a very good book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but flimsy, November 14, 2008
A good book with good recipes, but very short and skinny. It could have been beefed up with a lot more cultural info and fun facts and stories. I am glad I have the book though. I do love fried rice :)
