This journal is the perfect size and format for tight spaces (planes, trains, and automobiles)! The spiral binding makes it easy to fold it all the way open and then back on itself. I like the paper quality and the light lines - dark enough to guide me but light enough that I can ignore them when I do little sketches. I've ordered several of these journals with different covers and like them all.

The paper and color are great for writing with a beautiful cover. The problem with this journal is the spiral bound. It is hard to write on the left side pages because halfway across the page the spiral gets in the way(hand rests on the spiral interfering with the ability to write comfortably) and it is too much trouble to keep writing because it's too irritating to do so. I'm going to try another journal without the spiral and I wont buy one like this one, one that comes with a spiral. I folded it in half with just the left page to write on to see if that would help but it still got in the way.

I purchased a blank journal, it was delivered promptly and is exactly what I expected. I do wish that this type of journal were more commonly available in larger sizes.
