5.0 out of 5 stars Makes you feel good, November 14, 2008
By Nelviticus (Blighty) - See all my reviews
Despite having read everything in this book - several times over - I haven't learned anything at all. No new facts, no new tricks, no programming insights, nothing. I can honestly say that I didn't gain any practical graphics programming knowledge from this book whatsoever. So why the five stars? Well, if I can read an entire book by Charles Petzold and learn nothing from it that makes me feel pretty damn good about what I already know. That's five stars of feel-good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing to criticize in this book!, May 22, 2000
Back in the early days of Microsoft Windows, it took a writer of Charles Petzold's expertise to make Windows programming possible for mere mortals. Sentence by sentence, program by program, chapter by chapter, Petzold made Windows programming make sense. And now the master turns his sights to graphics. I can't find a single word to criticize, not one error, not the smallest flaw to detract from this volume's perfection!
