This is a beautiful bible because it includes many inspirational pictures. This book is not just a bible, but it is an excellent reference tool for Catholics. It has a very informative dictionary/encyclopedia in the back of the book, including subjective scripture references. The other characteristic of this bible that impresses me is that titles are embedded in the scripture (i.e., Mark 6:34-44 has the title "The Feeding of the Five Thousand").

If you do not have a good family bible, I strongly recommend this one.

This has three columns of text with print so small that it may impede reading if not under the best lighting conditions. Also the next book begins on the same page the previous book ends. Thus diminishing the fact that each book in the Bible is a really a separate work. The positive sides are, Words of Christ are written in red, it's printed on nice thick paper, and it comes with a yellow silk ribbon marker.
