My intention with this book was to take out the time consuming and difficult task of gleaning information from hard to understand code books.
I concentrated on dividing a building, facility and its surrounding environment into as many distinct and separate parts as possible. By putting the scoping provisions in one area of the book and the details of a building, facility or surrounding environment into a Survey Form format I think that I have accomplished my intention.
An improvement that I have made over other code books is that when I refer to a code number excerpt located elsewhere in the book, I not only mention what Survey Form or place it is located, I give the page number or numbers to look for. I use newly drawn, full-page graphics that have inches side by side with their metric conversions.
I stay as current as possible with prospective code changes, thereby offering the most current code book possible.
