5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for any History Buff, February 1, 1999
Hard to believe that this book costs so little for the rich data that has been compiled. Not only is ther material for more research but I wouldnt be suprised if freelance writers pick up on some of the exploits. As a participant in the Battle of the Atlantic I thought that as a radio operator on freighters that I knew what the situation was . Never could anyone guess the depth of the effort on both sides to achieve their goals. The two volumes are just par excellence . Again ,years of research must have gone into these volumes.

I already have started to research one incident listed with the hopes of publishing same!!!
