Correspondents range from dressers and stage doormen to stage managers, dancers, featured players, and even stars of the shows.

Robert Viagas (Mamaroneck, NY) is the founding editor of Playbill.com, host and program director of Playbill Radio, founding editor of The Playbill Broadway Yearbook series, editor of Louis Botto's At This Theatre, and the author of books including The Alchemy of Theatre and On the Line: The Creation of "A Chorus Line."

I think that the title says it all. I love Broadway, I'm obsessed with Broadway especially the cast members and so I love this book and I love reading it and I read it page by page so it takes me a long time to get through all the small print and wonderful headshots

This unbelievable project of keeping track of every person associated with a Broadway play or musical, (down to the front of house ushers!), is now in its fourth volume: The class of 2008. There is no other source for Broadway detail like the Playbill Yearbooks. Robert Viagas, the editor, and PLAYBILL, has done an extraordinary service to the theater community and brings it to everyone at a very affordable price.

As a "test" I wanted to see if this year's volume included the ill-fated Glory Days that opened and closed the same night, May 6, 2008. Yup. It is there for the history books.
