I bought a used book through Amazon platform. The condition of used book is quite reasonable. It's cheap and the book arrived in a reasonable days. I bought this book because it's the textbook of the classes I taken, and my lecturer is one of the author. The only way to get this book is to buy a used one because it's out of print. This book is composed by many authors. The pros is that the book discuss every topic in a very professional way, but it's not easy to follow for people without solid background. Be prepared that you would spend much time to bite the content piece by piece. Some typos but not affect the reading. For sure that some chapter is written much clearer than the others. The book is not that updated, but it's very useful if you're interested in learning temporal database system or related topics. Preview the TOP before you buy so that you know what topics would be covered. The authors are very famous and profound, and thus the chapters did cite all the reference in a very professional way. It would be helpful for people who interests in doing related research. It might save your time to search the whole web for reference.

I am really satisfied with the purchase of this product. It was delivered on the date they said it would be. Further, I got notified after it was shipped so I could easily track it. The product was in fine condition when delivered.

First of all the customer service at Amamzon is very good, but their online information about shipping times is very inconsistent. I ordered the book with expediated shipping that said I would recieve the book in 4-7 business days then they send me a confirmation letter saying I would receive the book in 14 business days this wasn't good for me I needed the book for a graduate course I am taking. I complained and Amazon apologized and gave me a 5$ credit on my next purchase then the book shows up on time in 4 business days. So to me there shipping policy and time quotes should be more consistent.
