About the Author
In a career that spans more than thirty years and forty books, David Muench has become known by his peers and the public alike as the preeminent Western landscape photographer. His extraordinary work with Graphic Arts Center Publishing(r) has inspired The David Muench Signature Series, dedicated to showcasing landscape photography of the highest possible quality. His recent books with Graphic Arts Center Publishing(r) include PRIMAL FORCES, CALIFORNIA, and PLATEAU LIGHT. He lives in Santa Barbara, California, with his wife, Bonnie. Marc Muench's excellent photos have appeared in two other collaborations with his father, PRIMAL FORCES and CALIFORNIA, and one volume of his own work with Graphic Arts Center Publishing(r), SKI THE ROCKIES. He lives in Santa Barbara, California.
Ann Zwinger is a well-known author with numerous books to her credit. Her work with Graphic Arts Center Publishing(r) includes Utah, Portrait of Utah, America, and Colorado II. Her writing has also been published in many magazines, including Audubon, Smithsonian, and National History. Ann resides with her husband, Herman, in Colorado Springs.
