Cogent, powerful, direct, and instructive, The New Intimacy is the best relationship book I've read. It picks up where other books of this genre leave off, revealing not only the what of relationships but the HOW. The authors' clear and entertaining guidance continues to serve as a reference tool for navigating my relationship snags and successes. Their section on conflict resolution is particularly useful. With the new awarenesses gleaned from this book, I enjoy deeper, richer relationships in all aspects of my life but most deliciously with my significant other. I have increased respect and admiration for all the ways he is different from me. And you can imagine the magic - not to mention the heat! - that my new found perspective generates between us.

The New Intimcay is an easy-to-read book full of insightful tools and relevant stories that will assist partners in creating and maintaining REALISTIC and LOVING interactions. It helps couples to understand, learn from and even enjoy the differences that occur in all relationships. Although geared towards couples, anyone can benefit from the information presented in this book.
