Otherwise I would have given this book a 2.

I'm disappointed as I have been waiting a long time for this book to be published. I was hoping to find some stories that speaks to the experiences of transwomen. I only recall one that the main character was a transwoman, the others tend to utilize transwomen more as props and to further other people's stories.

There is one exception. William Dean does capture this in his story Tango. The transwoman's sexuality goes unfulfilled while she services the needs of others. I can't think of a better story that captures the experiences of many transwomen.
