5.0 out of 5 stars The Expert's Guide to Internet Search and Research, May 20, 2009
In his recent published Internet guide (2009), The Expert's Guide to Internet Search and Research, Eric Popkoff, M.B.A. guides novice and expert researchers through the most current tools available for searching the invisible web, an area of the Internet that is rarely accessed, yet holds the vast majority of valuable information.

The book is clearly written, well laid out, and ends with a valuable appendix that acts as a one-stop guide to websites previously discussed and rated in the book. Popkoff focuses on accessing information that is cost-free (i.e. governments, libraries), but is not picked-up on by traditional search engines or basic search strategies. He also introduces the reader to a variety of other search engines, browsers, and complex search strategies.

The book is an invaluable resource to all levels of researchers.

- AH, Librarian

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read!! I was missing so much!, May 20, 2009
When you think about how often we all do internet searches, and how much information is out there, I am astounded that prior to reading this book, all I was doing was Googling! I learned about so many other resources that the internet has to offer, many of which get me more information on the topic I am looking for than could be accomplished with a simple Google search. I highly recommend this book for anyone who uses the internet (so pretty much anyone.)
