1.0 out of 5 stars The worst book you can buy, September 3, 1998
This is the worst book you can buy, this book doesn't teach something about 3D Studio, and if you know a little about you can understand alone how to work with IPAS, you really don't need this book, instead of it you have to buy the IPAS.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth its weight in gold, June 5, 1997
By A Customer
IPAS plugins have proven their prowess in transforming 3D Studio into a veritable effects powerhouse, but getting them to work is another story. Piles of arcane parameters stare back at you. You do countless test renders and tear up the room in search of the teeny manual. Before your clients fly to the nearest SGI guy, get this book and use it.
Tim Forcade has worked through most all major IPAS routines for you, and has provided short and concise explanations of each parameter, with liberal examples and many pictures. Buy this book and save your sanity on your next deadline.
Novice Alert : This book assumes some familiarity with 3D Studio and IPAS, and is not meant to be a tutorial
