From Library Journal
During a month-long writers' retreat, Claire and Noel trade sarcastic put - downs. The two women share a cabin, but each acts as if she were there alone. Their habits and writing styles clash--not that either of them does much writing--and provoke frayed nerves. But their irritability masks curiosity, and when Claire finally seduces uptight psychologist Noel, the bickering stops and hurt feelings are miraculously healed. Although it has some appeal as pure escape, this novel is hampered by inane, two-dimensional characters and a weak story line no amount of verbal boxing can disguise. The book contains 11 photo stills from a movie of the same name (not seen) written and directed by Conn. Not a necessary purchase.
