Today's young people have more career, education, and training options than ever before. Traditional two- and four-year colleges, universities, and trade schools compete for students with industry-sponsored training programs, military training programs, military training, and apprenticeship programs. It's no wonder a young person might feel overwhelmed.
Helping Your Child Choose a Career will help. Written for parents and their kids, it can help young people through the daunting process of deciding what they want to be when they grow up. It provides helpful and up-to-date information and advice on tomorrow's careers, technology, the global economy, labor force trends, and selecting and paying for the right education or training.
