From Library Journal
This work is actually a complete reprint of a U.S. Department of Defense publication, Military Careers 1992-1994. It describes the vast array of occupations in the Armed Forces, outlining what they are, the attributes most helpful to applicants, training, work environment, civilian counterparts, and opportunities. Also provided is a section on career paths with a time line. Most libraries will not need this book. Adult job seekers have already passed a decision-making point on military careers, and while school libraries might find the work useful, they could save the $19.95 and have a recruiter provide much of the same information for free.
