This latest book is a continuation of Sherrill's previous works, which I also own. This newest addition does have some terrific ideas and tips. But I wish Sherrill would use other colors and different rubber stamp images (yes, I know she designs and sells her own line of rubber) so that one can see what these projects would look like in other hues and designs. The photos almost look as if they were taken directly from her other two books. She seems to be doing the identical projects over and over and over. Her little journals are people dolls and rolled beads are cute. But, please, please, please show us something new!

I have an extensive library of books on fabric and paper arts but this one is by far the best. The chapters are organized by technique and the instructions are easy to understand. There are even some imaginative techniques that I had never heard of before but I am now anxious to try. What I love best, however, are the many beautiful pictures of the finished artwork. They are truly inspiring. I recommend this book to beginners and experts alike. It will definitely get your creative juices flowing.

When I buy a book for inspiration and technique, I don't want it to be an art "show" -- I want it to tell me how to do it! This book has great step-by-step instructions and illustrations. I have to say it's one of my very favorite and I've been buying technique books for years. This one sits next to me in my work room and I refer to it often. I recommend it to beginners, advanced, etc.
