What Salvador Dali and his compatriots in the surrealist movement did with paint and canvas in the 1930s, photographers are now doing with Adobe Photoshop, Quantel Graphic Paintbox, Imrender and other high tech tools of the digital revolution. This stunning compilation of computer-generated designs includes a variety of commercial efforts, personal projects and promotional pieces. Two of the more spectacular images--both collaborations between photographer Ryszard Horowitz and R/GA Digital Studios--appear to be directly inspired by Dali, while Jamie Cook's portrait of a woman with her head literally in the clouds pays homage to painter René Magritte.
