Product Description
The Graphic Idea Resource series presents good design in an affordable format. Each book in the series presents inspiring, contemporary projects—and explores a single aspect of graphic design.

Graphic Idea Resource: Black-and-White and Two-Color Design—Learn how to keep "artful simplicity" from becoming "awfully boring" when designing in black and white. Gather inspiration from a collection of graphic design work whose grace, strength, and distinction grabs attention without the use of color. Rediscover the power of the grid, the distinction of shapes, and the creative value of designing with black & white.

4.0 out of 5 stars Printing-focused, October 22, 2000
By Zeh Fernando (Sao Paulo, Brazil) - See all my reviews
The book has lots of nice work, but it's directed into printed media, and not "newmedia" (web, cds, etc). Virtually all the pieces of work displayed on the book are print artwork - cards, labels, banner ads, bags, boxes, and the alike. Pretty nice but not what someone intending to learn new media design should look for.

4.0 out of 5 stars No only useful for design, June 17, 2000
By Rommel Liu (Hong Kong) - See all my reviews
I buy this book give me ideas to design graphic for web page(Quite funny, isn't it) As there are not much or even no computer book about this topic. Less colour a graphic use, smaller size the graphic file be and it is really important for homepage design.
