Ed Hinson has produced an excellent overview of the pre-trib, pre-mill position on the End Times. He doesn't let loose with all kinds of wild speculation, but examines the hope of the Rapture based on sound exegesis of scripture. I particularly appreciated Hinson's cautions approach to date-setting (we got enough of that behavior leading up to Y2K!). His style is clear, straightforward, and to-the-point. A very solid introduction to the subject. As a minister, I welcome this book precisely because it handles the Rapture in a no-nonsense manner. His approach has helped me to communicate the 'blessed hope' with more clarity. Well done, Dr Hinson!

Dr Hindson's book is a good book to keep on file so that you can understand what other believe believe when it comes to the end times. He like many others however miss many key verses in the bible as well as greek words used to inturpret things to give us understanding. Tribulation as mentioned in Matt 24 and throughout the gospels as well as in many of Paul's letters means Thlipsis, this meaning time of "Great" persecution, & trouble.

I did enjoy reading this book and do recommend it to those who hold to other rapture beliefs.

Like Paul we must walk upright and keep our focus on Christ, not allowing ourselves to fall away from the truth of God.
