From Library Journal
Making wooden clocks, useful products for gift giving or resale, is well within the abilities of most woodworkers. Nelson, a clock collector, offers plans for 37 clocks, both traditional and modern. After a brief history of clocks and clock styles, he shows how to select components and offers general clock-making instructions, which helps avoid replication in the actual plans. The plans represent clocks covering a wide range of skill levels from scroll-sawn designs with a hole for a clock to a grandfather clock. The clocks are attractive, and the plans, while brief, are well done. A useful addition to woodworking collections.
