BradyGames' guide to Banjo-Kazooie opens with a brief summary of the game's plot, followed by a quick backgrounder on developer Rare, chronicling its accomplishments to date. Moving on to the meat of the guide, you'll find a quick introduction to each of the game's important characters along with an explanation of Banjo-Kazooie's various special moves and attacks. Then, after a bit of information on the many objects you'll have to find during your adventure and the transformations the bear and bird must undergo, the book launches into a level-by-level breakdown of the entire game. You won't find any maps in this guide, but the excellent narratives will lead you to every jiggie, jinjo, and musical note in the game. Don't be fooled by the publisher's inaccurate (and somewhat baffling) description of the book, which appears on this page; the guide is well written, accurate, and helpful. --Michael Ryan
