Combining practical advice on how to catch a wide variety of game fish with an elegant, literary style makes the book fun to read. It includes chapters on sailfish, marlin, tarpon, bonefish, swordfish, tuna, striped bass, channel bass, wahoo and a separate section on big game fish records. It covers the entire geography of American big game fishing from the Gulf of Mexico to the waters off southern California.
