"Dr. Ruth's Guide to College Life:The Savvy Student's Handbook" could greatly increase the quality of one's educational experience. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is even considering going to college, whether it be a university, community college, or a trade school.

There are some great tips on how to branch out into college social networks, how to deal with touchy roommate situations, long distance and on-campus relationships, how to manage the stress of returning home for the holidays or summer, and the maintenance of a work-school-social balance. Of course, since it is written by Dr. Ruth, there is a chapter on sex, as well.

To summarize, this book is an indispensable tool for every student, whether they are in college, or have thought they might be interested in applying one day. Even though I have spent some time in school, there were pieces of advice that I still found valuable, and I'm sure others will, as well.
