5.0 out of 5 stars Refreshing & Insightful, November 1, 2000
By A Customer
It's nice to know that the path to health, healing and wholeness involves laughing, misbehaving, and making mistakes. How refreshing! It no longer is necessary to wait until something tragic happens in your life to start living a fulfilling one. Why Normal Isn't Healthy shows you how to experience life to its fullest TODAY, at this very moment, instead of dreaming about what will happen tomorrow. The book is a road map that shows you how to prioritize your life and focus on the important stuff and not get caught up in the little things that can drive you crazy. Pick up this book. You'll be glad you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Normal's not only unhealthy - it can kill you, March 17, 2001
By Lauren M. Evans (La Verne, CA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Bowen White M.D. truly opens your eyes about what's important in life and how the stress that comes from what other people put into your inbox can really take you down. This is an easy to read, step by step eye opener about how the things we accept for normal in our life are slowly killing us and the book gives you significant, solid steps on how to take control over your life back from the world we live in and really learn to live. I loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Insight, September 15, 2000
By JAY BREMYER (McPherson, KS USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is a truely passionate, wonderful, and deeply considered book which opens the reader to new and invaluable insights into who we are, how we became this way, and what we can do to be healthy rather than normal. Always willing to laugh at himself, Dr. White uses practical down to earth examples from his own life and then, often when you least expect it, with a loving twinkle in his eye, helps us to look at our own lives, sometimes through tears we had thought had long since dried up. Mixed with courage and compassion, grounded in medical science but led by hope and a sense of the infinite possibilities, Why Normal Isn't Healthy opens a pathway which leads toward a better life.
