Warda, a lawyer who now publishes legal self-help books, presents two easy-to-understand guides to writing real-estate contracts and leases. The texts address contracts and leases section by section. Warda explains what each section means, then provides sample clauses one can use for one's particular needs. In the contract guide, sample contracts are provided for buying and selling real estate, including condominiums. In the lease guide, Warda covers house and apartment rentals along with short- and long-term commercial rental. Although he does address the position of the tenant, much of this book concentrates on the landlord's position. Leases is an excellent source for readers who are entering the rental business, while Contracts is suitable for those selling their own home. Recommended for public libraries.
