About the Author

Chellie Campbell is a former bookkeeper and musical comedy actress who combined her acting and financial skills to create the popular Financial Stress Reduction Workshop. She is now a full-time professional speaker, seminar leader and author. She lives in Los Angeles.

UPDATED REVIEW, APRIL 2006: I've just finished re-reading "The Wealthy Spirit", and yes, it's one of those books you'll benefit from reading more than once.

Chellie Campbell combines daily AFFIRMATIONS with practical ACTIONS to help you turn your money life around--for the better!

The affirmations help you to change the way you THINK about money, and let's face it, changing the way you think about ANYTHING is the first step to changing your actions.

The practical strategies, which include such basics as "Count Your Money" (keeping track of what you have, what you spend, etc.), keep you moving steadily toward your financial goals.

Chellie's daily motivation also encourages you to "Swim with the Dolphins" and "Avoid the sharks" and, by the end of the book, you'll know how to recognize both, and why to avoid some of these "fishy" characters if you want to be wealthy and avoid financial stress. (Hint: we all have some "tunas" in our lives--but we oughta throw 'em back in the water!)

This book is just plain FUN to read, and, more importantly, it offers real-world strategies that are EASY to implement.

Chellie's newest book, "Zero to Zillionaire" has just been released, and it contains 8 steps that can lead you to financial peace of mind.

Read "The Wealthy Spirit" first (or again!), and then prepare to dive into "Zero to Zillionaire".

In my first review of The Wealthy Spirit, I said: "Chellie will probably be the next Suze Orman--she's that good!" Once you've read her books, I think you'll agree!

Chellie Campbell is a wonderful storyteller and her daily affirmations are a pleasure to read. Like so many of us, my life is full to the brim and I have many demands on my time. I love the fact that her book is designed so that I can easily incorporate it into my life. All I have to do is just read one page to get a kickstart to my day! Now that I CAN do! Every day I find that I am entertained by a good story, I learn a lesson and affirm a positive statement that establishes my outlook for the whole day. It all so simple. That's the marvelous thing about THE WEALTHY SPIRIT. Chellie's book is deceptively simple but each daily segment is packed with so much depth. If you read this book and absorb its lessons through your daily practice, you will literally discover the truth of the maxim "change your thinking, change your life." I'm on day 40 and I already see the shift taking place in my life as I send out my ships, count my money and survive the storms. THE WEALTHY SPIRIT is helping me become a wealthy woman!

I have been a Chellie Campbell fan since we met years ago at a local women's networking function--so the fact that Chellie has written her book is NOT a surprise. However, others I know have done the same--and though I like the person, their book is bland,hard to stay with. Additionally, "money books" usually leave me feeling nervous and caged :-0!! INSTEAD, "The Wealthy Spirit" (like its author) extends a compassionate, funny helping hand. It reads and feels like another favorite book of mine, "Simple Abundance" by Sarah Van Breathnach. Chellie's writing is real. Her spirit soars in this book--and if you commit to reading one entry a day, it will pick you up and teach you to fly too. Well done, Chellie!
