5.0 out of 5 stars Everything I needed to get the product run smoothly, September 6, 1999
By A Customer
I was a completely newby to IIS and Web Servers. In this book I found a clear and complete path to follow in order to learn the technology beyond this product and, most important to me, to have IIS run the way I needed it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Must Buy!, August 31, 1999
By A Customer
Those who is using IIS: forget the other books! This is it -- it also explains the little things which I never could get a straight answer from the "professionals" such as the fundamentals of networking and how the Internet work.

The book was written in a concise and clear manner. Plenty of examples, and explanations.

The only minus: The info on the Index Server is rather sparse but the author acknowledges this fact and recommends that one should play around with the example script.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent ! Clear, oragnized, full of useful information, August 15, 1999
By A Customer
This book is several times better than the other two books I bought for IIS. I would like to give a six stars if I can.

If I need to pick something to improve, it will be Chap 18 Transactional ASP, If it will go through more detail about the Transaction concept and MTS ,then it will be great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the purchase price!
I wasn't able to find all of the answers I needed, but there wasn't much that wasn't answered. The coverage of CGI is a little thin, but pretty much expected given the size and... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Good information. But not from an exam standpoint.
This book presents information that most exam oriented books do not have. It will not help you pass the exam by itself but will certainly help you understand your IIS 4. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good; clear and helpful
It is pretty clear that authors know what they are writing about first hand. Don't know how helpful to pass test, but very helpful for WEB administrators and developers. Read more
