About the Author
Marlene M. Coleman, M.D. has been involved in gated community associations for more than 25 years. Currently, she is a board member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and a member of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Dr. Coleman is an Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Southern California Medical School and is in private practice in Newport Beach, specializing in adolescent medicine.
Judge William H. Huss received his law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law. He retired from the Los Angeles Superior Court and currently is a full time mediator and arbitrator, overseeing and addressing individual and corporate cases. He is a frequent lecturer for the California Association of Community Managers and has been involved with gated-community living and condominium associations for more than 20 years.
