Choosing Sides: I Remember Vietnam introduces you to heroes, draft dodgers, peace activists, nurses and POW's - men and women who recount ht most difficult decisions they made during the war. First person narratives juxtaposed with stunning archival footage, set against a backdrop of sixties music, take you from the killing fields of the Vietnamese highlands to one-on-one combat in Hue.
The War at Home - The war rages in Vietnam as the protest marches escalate on the home front. This program follows Dr. Howard Levy who was court-martialed and jailed for refusing to train Green Berets...Harry Maruer, a University student who got a psychiatric deferral to evade the draft, and Tom Cornell, a civil rights activist who was one of the first to get arrested for burning his draft card. These, and other like them, chose to resist a war they thought was immoral, either through peaceful protest, civil disobedience, lone acts of violence or rebellion.
