"The Whimsical Tarot," by Dorothy Morrison is absolutely wonderful! I have more than a few decks and a bookcase full of Tarot books that I have tried to study over the last 20 years, and although many of decks are beautiful (especially "The Gilded Tarot"!!!), I have yet to find a deck I could "form a relationship" with. Today, however, the child in me is jumping up and down with joy at finding "The Whimsical Tarot." My character/personality card is The Hierophant. With a bad taste in my mouth for organized religion, I have been so disappointed with regular decks descriptions of him. As much as I tried to grasp what he had to say to me, I could not listen. Robin Hood's friend, "Friar Tuck" is the Hierophant of "The Whimsical Tarot," and the description Ms. Morrison gives makes him my twin brother!!! I actually wanted this deck for my granddaughter. . .The book and cards are out of print now, but as luck would have it, I managed to buy two decks from the internet for reasonable prices. Now, I have a deck for her, and a deck for me!
