About the Author

Wilma Chandler is a director, actor and choreographer in the Monterey and San Francisco bay area. For many years she has directed the Theatre Arts program at Cabrillo College and been an innovator in both teaching and producing Performing Arts courses and workshops. She was the co-coordinator of the National Festival of Women's Theater and the Louden Nelson Poetry Series in Santa Cruz, Ca. She has directed and performed for many theater companies, including the Black Repertory Theater in Oakland and the Bear Republic Theater and has taught at the University of Iowa and the University of California at Santa Cruz. She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains with her husband, the novelist and playwright, John Chandler.

Four 'Ultimate Scene Study' Series titles Wilma Marcus Chandler for aspiring actors on scene study are recommended picks for any serious about acting. 101 Scenes For Groups (1-57525-222-8, $19.95) provides scenes which use up to ten characters, providing a range of scenes suitable for exploring different kinds of group interactions. Scenes For 2 Actors (153-1, (...), Scenes For 3 Actors (220-1, (...) and Scenes For 4 Actors (221-X, (...) achieve similar goals with smaller groups, providing very different kinds of skits and scenes which encourage acting skills developments on different levels.
