4.0 out of 5 stars Every gifted child should read this, July 29, 1998
By A Customer
My gifted son found this in a bookstore and begged me to buy it - all the way home, as he read it in the back seat, he kept exclaiming, "Mom! This is me!" He carried it around for weeks, sharing it with all his gifted friends, who had similar reactions. It is an excellent way to teach your gifted child why he is different, and that it's OK to be gifted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, July 11, 2001

I read this book when I was much younger and it is great. All kids, under 10, will love this book. It will make them understand easily that being gifted isn't a bad thing, but something that makes you special, and isn't something to be ashamed of. This is a must read for any gifted child under the age of 10.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Gifted Kids' Survival Guide for ages 10 and under, February 6, 2001
By A Customer
This book is terrific. I read a lot of it aloud to my 5 year-old and he appreciated the explanations and suggestions. I think this book has a lot of really practical suggestions for parents and kids. It also empowers kids to learn how to enjoy their gifts. I would highly recommend this book.
