Terrific book and easy read! My copy of "Ask Your Animal" is already dog-eared and highlighted. This is an excellent resource of animal communication written by a lady who is the real deal and a professional. I have read many books recently on this subject and find Marta William's works to be informative, touching, easy to understand. In her first chapter, Marta shares with her readers the theory of intuitive communication based on quantum physics. Though I know this came from a tremendous amount of research, Marta gives a simple and easily understandable explanation of a complex process which I understood.

Marta, not only includes explanations of types of animal communication but skillfully intertwines real life stories of examples to demonstrate how unwanted animal behavior can be addressed with using communication as a tool. The book is an excellent primer for the reader who wants to communicate with their animals albeit dogs, cats, horses, etc. This book presents easy to follow instructions and practice exercises to address most issues. As Marta says, one must practice, practice, practice.

Marta gives excellent advice regarding vet care and the use of holistic medicine and regular vets. In our small area, I frequently use our regular veterinarians and our holistic veterinarians together for one animal. For the more physical problems i.e. surgery, teeth cleaning, etc. I use my regular veterinarian. For the herbs, natural diet, energy work and acupuncture my holistic vet is used. Both of my veterinarians are aware of each other and work together.

I encourage every animal owner and lover to read this book. Practice the exercises. Marta gives each one of us a way to better understand and appreciate our animals. Thank you Marta. Your book is now a staple in my library.

I am constantly amazed and inspired by reading the stories of people discovering that their animals can communicate with them using Marta Williams' simple techniques. What a wonderful gift to those of us who want to have a heart-to-heart connections with animals and want to enrich these relationships, especially with the animals that share our heart and life.
I found her chapter on Dealing with Bad Behaviors very interesting and informative. It gives many helpful tips - but leaves the possible real-life solutions up to the reader to discover using intuitive communication with their own animals as their guide.
A gifted teacher and writer has another hit with me!

WOW! This book finally did it for me! I've been dabbling at communication, and after reading this, realized that I could do it just fine if I simply went ahead and did it! I started talking with my animals and others more deliberately, and accepting their answers! Often less is more, and Marta's matter-of-fact statement that there's NO GREAT MYSTERY to using your intuition hit home!

One reviewer did not appreciate the 'stories', but I think that proof and examples, as with legal precedents, cut a new groove for our minds to follow.


It's not complicated! I have followed Marta's advice, and am more in tune with myself as well as with the grater world and universe. I am more at peace, even in the midst of outer chaos.

Marta's advice on naming was great! Ask Your Animal is the first book I've seen which addressed this issue! So many folks name their animal after, for instance, her disability or misfortune! "Limpy", "Stubby" etc. Or simply don't give a thought to who the animal is and what name would show appreciation and respect (if not reverence). The animals are aware of this: thanks Marta!

Ask Your Animal is simply written, clear, and useful in a million ways.

The Epilogue gets to the bigger issues: if we can communicate specifically, we can do so generally too...manifesting for a better would. We can ask the help of the planet, and ask our fellow humans to join us. Jeremy Narby has a good book: Intelligence in Nature, about just that. I'd like to hear more from Marta on how we can re-connect with nature. But this wonderful tome will keep me going for some time!
