SACRED HEALING - BOOK REVIEW

Recently, I, along with 18 others had the honor and pleasure of spending one week with Ron Mann in an enlightening and rewarding leadership training for my company. During this week we learned the importance of integrating the "whole person", body, soul, emotion and spirituality into the workplace. Ron's tremendous gifts of spirituality were shared with all of us. His book, Sacred Healing was used in part to demonstrate his wisdom, gentleness and strength of character. Ron lives what he teaches. His word is his bond. This book is truly an eye-opening tribute to his faith in God and humanity and the power we all have within to become the best that we can be. During the week we all spent together, we practiced meditating which is described in detail in this book. Meditation, prayer, becoming quiet helps an individual to have a direct relationship with Spirit. It is such a peaceful, tranquil experience that allows one to truly feel connected to something that is much bigger than this life. It is a healing of the soul which is what this book focuses on.

Sacred Healing shares in detail some of Ron's own life experiences, a personal account of his own spiritual - soul growth over the years which serves to enlighten and encourage us all. It speaks of such profound wisdom and truth, guidance and love, eternal peace for anyone who is seeking that plane of tranquility in the world in which we now live. Sacred Healing is an awakening of the Spirit in us all. Allow the Divine to work through each of us. Let "ego" die. When we let God and Spirit "in", life changes. I would encourage all people both on a personal and professional level to read this book and open your hearts to a new life that can bring you to a new level of consciousness. Modern western science still has a long way to go in accepting that God and spirituality play a huge part in the "wholeness" and the healing of the human being. We are really just beginning to touch the tip of the iceberg. Sacred Healing will help to demonstrate how and why this is so very important.

Ron Mann's dedication, perseverance and spirituality reach out to all of us in this wonderful book as well as the seminars that he offers. On a scale of 1 to 10 this book is a TEN!

In this entertaining and powerful account of spiritual awakening, practice and communication, Ron Mann relates his extraordinary experiences as a seeker, healer and '90s everyman. With the voice of you and me, he tells his stories of experiencing higher levels of awareness and human energy fields, astral and otherwise. This book is a compelling chronicle of finding a higher love, a guru and a way to precipitate profound shifts in the real lives and souls of people in the author's life and psychotherapy practice. Travels through heat, dust and dirt during a spiritual quest to share the love and wisdom of enlightened beings in the ashrams of India; out- of-body experiences while communing soul-to-soul during the healing of an autistic child; Dr. Mann's vivid and clear descriptions show us how these amazing phenomena are integrated into his real, but intensely spiritual life. The impact this expanded dimension of awareness has upon his practice as a conventionally trained clinical psychologist is of special interest to people involved with this profession.
