2.0 out of 5 stars I was disappointed, August 29, 2008
By LA "Hope" (Akron,Ohio) - See all my reviews

I did not think that this book was detailed enough to ensure that you would achieve a good result. It contained a lot of information, quotes from celebrities and other famous persons, for example, that were a waste of book space. I would have preferred to have purchased a book that presented haircut techniques on a more detailed and serious level.

1.0 out of 5 stars A collection of bad ideas, November 20, 2008
This review is from: How to Cut Your Own Hair (Or Anyone Else's!): 15 haircuts with variations (Spiral-bound)
Luckily I flipped through this book in Border's before I wasted any money on it.

For cutting short hair like mine, they recommend that you tie your hair back in a pony tail and simply snip the 'tail' off. I did this once when I was 15; suffice to say, it's a really bad idea.

I won't be trying any of the other bright ideas in this book, I'm too horrified to think what might happen!

This book was a godsend to me! In todays economy, this type of self help is just what the doctor ordered. I used the advise to cut my own hair, and the result was perfect!
