Product Description

Natural Eating is about realizing your full potential for good healthand prolonging youth into old age. It is not necessary to be perfect, just good enough because any move toward healthy and natural eating is beneficial.

The basic premise of Natural Eating is eating in harmony with the way our bodies have been designed. We are bombarded by conflicting and confusing messages competing for our attention. The Natural Eating book brings clarity by focusing on the eating patterns for which the human race is naturally adapted.

Start eating naturally and youll suddenly see a lot of things start to fall into place:

- weight loss and control
- improved vitality and complexion
- good digestion and intestinal health
- youthfulness prolonged into old age

Healthful eating strategies are explained to favor weight loss and control diet-linked diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kimberly Pickett, Corporate Trainer and Business Coach, June 30, 2001
By A Customer
There is a lot of information about nutrition and proper diet on the market and I find it all very confusing and contradictory. Natural Eating, it seems, is the culmination of Geoff Bond's entire life's work studying how peoples all over the world eat and stay healthy.

When I put into practice just one of the suggestions, I lost 5 pounds. Weight loss was not my aim, but I suppose the body just starts letting go of excess when it is getting fed properly. When I put into place 5 or 6 principles, I lost another 5 pounds, and started waking up earlier naturally. I no longer craved food, I had a breakthrough in my hypoglycemia and I felt as though I was working with the rhythms of my body instead of always fighting against.

I think most importantly, the author gives you the history/foundation/science of his findings based on years of travel all over the world, studying primitive and modern cultures in thriving and ailing countries. In a nutshell, he studies the way the human being is built (shape of teeth, hands, digestive system) and derives what eating patterns fit us as a species. It's fascinating to consider that we are built to eat fruit partly because our hands are built to pick a piece from the tree, our teeth are shaped to cut through a carrot and so forth. The information is sound and useful. The recipe suggestions are excellent. The lists of foods are organized and easy to put into your kitchen immediately.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It has altered the way I fuel my body.

5.0 out of 5 stars Start at the beginning, May 13, 2001
By Charles Smith (Omaha, Nebraska USA) - See all my reviews
Since being diagnosed with Epilepsy 6 years ago I have devoted much of my spare time reading everything I can about health and our bodies in hopes of finding a cure for my disorder. As I would read these books, scientific abstracts, articles ranging from old folk remedies to the latest new age promises, a voice inside kept telling me to go back to the beginning. Back to the very basics of life. Before there were doctors and drug companies. Before there were fast food restaurants and big food companies. To rediscover what my body is and how it works. Look at myself as the animal as I am. And as that animal, what do I need to survive. But where do I start. The answer was to read Geoff Bond's book "Natural Eating". His book took me back to the very beginning. Within those 234 pages I learned about the evolution of our species in terms of our diet and our health. I learned that if we continue to eat the way we are doing soon we may find ourselves on the endangered species list. And for myself I learned Natural Eating also means Natural Healing. Thank you Mr. Bond.

The work of Geoff Bond stands head and shoulders above any other work I have read on the subject of proper diet. The book is incredible well researched, and very well written. More than that it contains cutting edge information that can literally save one's life. Lose weight, gain energy, enjoy eating more, live a longer and healthier life. This one is a must read!
