Charlotte Hayes, MMSc, MS, RD, CDE is a nutrition and fitness consultant in Atlanta, Georgia. She has specialized in diabetes management and education for the past 12 years. She is an active member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators; the American Diabetes Association; Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists and the Diabetes Care and Education Practice Groups of the American Dietetic Association; and the American College of Sports Medicine. She has published a number of articles on nutrition, physical activity, and health and has given presentations on these topics nationally and statewide. Her greatest satisfaction professionally comes from promoting lifestyle habits that enhance health and well-being.
