My sifu recommended this as being a video from which I could completely learn a form. He was right! The instruction in the book is detailed and on point. The instruction in the video is not merely a repeat of the book; in combination with the book the video makes the learning process a joy. The T'ai Chi and the instruction is first rate, as you would expect from a master like Marshall Ho'o.

I came across this book with the help of an advanced student of my Tai Chi class. My Sifu spoke highly of the author. I have found this work very helpful as a beginner. With great photos and directions, this book works well as a home guide for outside training. Along with the video, Tai Chi Chuan provides a sound foundation from Temple Exercises to a complete short form.
