The Charting with Excel 2002 course is designed for the user who is comfortable with Microsoft Excel basics, formulas and functions in any Excel version. In this book, you will create Chart sheets and Embedded charts, add additional data series to existing charts, generate 3D charts and work with rotation, add a secondary axis to a chart, emphasize chart data with graphic objects such as arrows and text boxes, stack and scale data series, change the labels for the x-axis, learn to manipulate PivotCharts, a new feature introduced with Office 2000, and apply chart autoformats.
About the Author
Pamela W. Adams graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1986. Mrs. Adams completed the Mid-Management Certificate program and Training and Development Certification at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She taught computer application courses in adult education programs for community and technical colleges in North Carolina for eight years. Since 1994, she has authored or co-authored over 100 computer training manuals and provided training services to many corporate, municipal and educational clients across the Southeast. Mrs. Adams is a technology workshop instructor each fall for Continuing Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. CPI courseware has been adopted by Guilford Technical Community College Adult Education, CompuTrain at Catawba Valley Community College, College of the Albemarle Small Business Center, the Continuing Education division of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. CPI has been listed in the Charlotte Business Journal Book of Lists as one of the largest area computer training companies in Charlotte since 1997.
