About the Author
Carol Wingert has taught at Creating Keepsakes University and was the keynote speaker at an Australian scrapbook convention in 2004. She was the lead artist in Autumn Leaves’ The Book Book and has been a contributing artist in six of their other publications. She is also a frequent contributor to Legacy magazine, published by Stampington.

Tena Sprenger is an instructor of memory and photo art who has contributed art to four Autumn Leaves publications. Tena has participated in product development for 7 gypsies and has represented them at trade shows, producing artwork and display samples. She is a 2004 inductee into the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame.

I was absolutely delighted by this book! The unique (and fun!) projects in Artful Memories burst off the pages with bright, juicy colors. The instructions are easy to follow and their "make it yours" suggestions are clever and really got me thinking about my household items that are just waiting to be painted, collaged, and embellished with my own memories.

I picked up Artful Memories because I know of Carol and Tena's work. They are incredible instructors and have quite a faithful following of fans. I love the cover of this book and so many of the projects. This honestly is one of my favorite books that I turn to when I need to spark my creative juices for my scrapbooking/altered art. I can't wait to see their newest book, Lifelines, when it comes out.

This book takes the fun and color of the scrapbook through your whole house! The authors have a sense of humor and write with intimacy, so you enjoy the book, not just looking at the pictures. The projects are well-explained and DO-able! I met Carol Wingert at the CHA convention, and she is so generous and friendly.
